About us
La Noticia, Inc., has been serving the Charlotte community for more than twelve years. We have great presence in print, radio and Internet. Our main printed publication is La Noticia, The Spanish-Language Newspaper, the largest and most professionally done Spanish-language newspaper in the Carolinas. We also produce two magazines Bienvenidos and Ventana Magica. We also have two weekly radio shows. Via Internet, we offer news and information through lanoticia.com and Excelenteawards.com.

We organize the Latin American Excelente Awards, an annual gala created to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Latino business people and their supporters. We have been organizing Excelente for the last ten years. All proceeds from Excelente go to La Noticia Foundation, our charitable arm with the mission of providing scholarships to Latino students who have the grades and the desire to go to college, but do not have the financial means to do so. Every year we award four or five scholarships in the amount of $2,500 to very deserving Latino students.
